"..I can't imagine life without music" Elton John
Hello, I'm Neil & music is my passion.
"If it has strings, it's my thing." For fifty years, I've enjoyed a love affair with string instruments. Guitars, bass, violas, violins, fiddles, rock music, to classical, country, gospel & acapella .. I can't get enough.
My personal portfolio has spanned choirs, orchestras, bands, duets & countless solo projects. These days, I'm compelled to mentor anybody with musical interests.
I'm told that my torch-passing desires are a nod towards old age tendencies, but I prefer to liken myself to a well-crafted violin built with woods that have fully matured ... the resulting tone just became a little better over time.
My sense of responsibility in fostering others was the genesis of Congo Strings. I've always maintained that music lessons remain fun & approachable. Even though I teach music less frequently today, the Congo Strings mantra remains true. Music always needs to remain affordable, enjoyable & fun.
Congo Strings exists so you can find the same joy that was shared with me a lifetime ago. Music ... easily one of the best gifts we can receive.
Welcome to Congo Strings. Cheers!
